The current K-beauty wave wasn't built by the giants or conglomerates. It was built by indie brands — the ones who saw a skin concern no one was solving, used technology no one was using, and answered a question no one was asking. Each small brand became its own way of solving a problem. Together, they redrew what beauty could mean.

Altameet exists because more of those brands need to exist.

Altameet exists at that intersection — connecting global brands with Korea’s manufacturing expertise while bringing the cultural fluency, market perspective, and creative direction needed to build with intention. We are not just a sourcing partner; we are a bridge between vision and execution, between brand and product, between where culture is moving and how things get made.

Today, Altameet is a boutique growth studio and partner with global reach. It partners directly with Korean manufacturers, handle intensive cross-border negotiations and collaborate with other creative industries and Korean government affiliates to help them increase their presence overseas.

Meet the Founder

Liz is the founder of ALTA MEET. With hands-on experience working directly with Korean cosmetics manufacturers, she understands the full production cycle — from manufacturer vetting to formulation development and sampling.

Her beauty-focused history did not start in K-beauty marketing, but rather in translating in Cosmoprof Bologna in 2015, long before “K-beauty” became a global category. After that she worked in Italy, Singapore and Seoul in fashion, human resources consulting, and culture & global partnerships.

Five of these years were inside CJ Group — the conglomerate behind Olive Young, Korea’s Sephora. There she led 50+ cultural programs and diplomatic-level events with global institutions, curating K-Culture experiences. She was responsible for incubating artists and creative talents — work that, surprisingly, prepared her almost perfectly for incubating indie brands.

Based in New York City, Liz works on your time zone and ensures responsive communication throughout every process.

Our Vision : From Product to Platform

We start where the product starts: sourcing, sampling, production. And we grow with you. Once the product exists, we can move into design coordination, content strategy, AI-powered PR, social-first storytelling, and the longer arc of brand growth. The brands worth building deserve more than to exist quietly — they deserve the spotlight that brings them to the people they were made for.

Our long-term ambition is bigger than a service. It's a platform — a place where small beauty brands and the people who help build them find each other, learn from each other, and grow into the next wave together. Beauty is where we start, but not where we stop. Our work crosses into wellness, fashion, and culture — because the brands worth building rarely live inside a single category, and the partners who help build them shouldn't either.
